Solihull Triathlon Club - Run Training

Regardless of your current level for running Solihull Triathlon Club's BTF Qualified coaches can help you achieve your goals. Our members target a variety of distances from Junior sprint distances of 600m to ultra-marathons.


Saturday morning training is generally in Tudor Grange Park at 0930 and is an Adults and Junior session.  This is great for families as it means parent and children can run at the same time. Sessions include warm up and warm down sets with stretching.  The Adult sessions are 90 minutes long and the Junior sessions are 60 minutes

Every first Saturday of the month is considered Park Run test week where we test ourselves at one of the local park runs such as Brueton Park.

Occasionally this run decamps to other parks or location to do hill reps or cross country


Tuesday evening sessions are over 14 only. This is generally a coach led, endurance focused set running round the streets of Solihull. This meets at the bike racks at Tudor Grange Leisure Center at 1845 every week. As with the Saturday sessions these sessions include warm up and warm down and stretching led by a qualified BTF coach and last around 75 minutes.

For those targeting a longer distance there is often a social pre-run to this session which starts at 18:05 which is announced via our members only Facebook group,
